visa

If you plan to travel to Iran as a tourist or pilgrim, please review the useful information provided below:

Iran visa is a permission of entry for a limited period of time issued by Iranian Embassies or Consulates General, for foreign nationals who wish to come to Iran to travel or visit friends. Every foreign visitor has required a visa to enter Iran except few countries.

Pilgrimage visa is issued only for the foreign Muslims who intend to visit Islamic sacred places in Iran (Qom, Mashhad, and Shiraz). The cost of this visa is cheaper than tourist Visa.

There are several steps to apply for your Iran visa through our agency:

  1. Fill in our online visa application.
  2. Attach the scan of your current Passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond your travel date.
  3. Attach your personnel photograph in Jpg format (in color/clear/ taken within the last 6 months/with white back ground/ in full front view of head/equals to or less than 500 Kb in 400 x 600 pixels (minimum)
  4. Send us your CV (Curriculum Vitae) or Resume including your previous and current work and education history if you are British, American and Canadian passport holders.
  5. Pay us the agency service fee which is 45 $ per applicant (different from the service fee you need to pay at the embassy)

Note: Our service fee for visa is free on your tour

How these steps work?

After receiving your Iran visa application form, which can be filled out below and the scan of your passport main page in JPG format (valid for 6 months beyond stay), the visa department of our travel agency starts your visa process and send the documents to MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

The typical administrative processing time to get the reference number (authorization number), is 3 to 7 working days after submitting a complete application on the Ministry website (except for British, Canadian and American passport holders).

After receiving the authorization number from MFA, we will send it to you, and then you can refer to your preferred embassy (the one you selected in your Iran visa application form) within 25 days and collect your Iran visa.

Please be informed that each embassy has its regulation about collection processing time and pick up policy, so it is necessary to contact the embassy beforehand.

After visa collection, you have almost three months to enter Iran.

The maximum validity of Iran visa is 30 days, but it can be extended in Iran at the police office of foreign aliens in big cities such as Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman…

How to get Iran Visa On Arrival?

If you are out of time and from one of the eligible countries for Iran visa at the airport (except from those countries listed below) you can choose this Iran visa type.

In this case, the procedure and details below still apply, or If you are a British man married to an Iranian woman, and able to provide a marriage certificate, then we can obtain a visa as per below. Iran Visa on Arrival for Canadian Citizens

Canadians must present a passport to visit Iran, which must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of expected departure from that country. Before traveling, ask your transportation company about its requirements related to passport validity, which may be more stringent than the country’s entry rules.

Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Iran. Canadian cannot get Airport and Iran Visa on Arrival, and you need to obtain your visa before your trip.

Canadian-Iranians must enter and exit Iran using their Iranian passport. When returning to Canada from Iran, they must present to Canadian officials the passport they used to leave Canada.

If you enter Iran with a transit pass issued by an embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad, it may take up to a year to obtain an Iranian passport to exit Iran or return to Canada.

Iranian immigration authorities have confiscated the foreign passports (including Canadian) of dual Iranian citizens.

Iranian authorities sometimes insert an observation in Iranian passports limiting the bearer to one trip to Iran per year. Dual citizens using an Iranian passport to enter Iran should take note of this limitation, as it is strictly enforced: those who have exceeded this limitation have been prohibited from leaving Iran. This situation seems more likely to occur when dual citizens have not completed their military service in Iran.
