Ali Sadr Cave is one of the rare samples of water caves in the world. It is located 75 kilometers to the northwest of Hamedan in a village by the same name which is one of the districts of Kabudarahang Township.

Alisadr cave has too many water halls and wide variety of beautiful features such as stalactites, stalagmites and carst deposits with various forms. This cave with about 2400 M in cave boating is the biggest cave in the world from this respect.

Geologists believe that the rocks of this mountain pertain to the second geological period i.e. Jurassic (190-130 million years ago).  Based on evidence within the cave, it was inhabited by primitive people.


nakhjir

Have you ever wished to explore lands of million years old full of mystery? Where with every step you take, you are impressed by a new scroll of geology unfolding before your eyes? It is easy to make this dream come true by traveling to Nakhcheer Cave.

Nakhcheer or Chal-Nakhjir is a cave situated in Markazi Province of Iran. It is a limestone cave approximately 70 million years old.

It is no exaggeration if we say it’s one of the most beautiful caves in the world. This cave was discovered by an explosion near its holes in the year of 1988. This cave is named as Nakhcheer because it is placed in Chal-Nakhjir area near Delijan city.

This cave has one main corridor with some subsidiary corridors that 4 meters of that were discovered with explorers and ethnic groups. Depth of the cave is estimated to be nearly 8 to 10 meters. There are also different halls, pond, and crystalline prisms. Reflection of light in crystalline prisms has given beautiful effects to this place.

Among the highlights of the cave are numerous halls such as Chelcheargh, Sofre Aroos, Daryache, Bagh-e Vahsh and Chehel Sotoon. It also features amazing crystalized stalactites and stalagmites; here in the cave you can spot interesting crystal images like eagles, turtles, deer, and doves.


Salt cave

The cone-shaped salt mountain is another attraction of Qeshm Island. The great and wonderful Stalagtites and Stalagmites of these caves are the result of many years of nature activity.

According to the scientific estimates of the experts of the Czech Republic (which was carried out in 2005), the length of the salt caves of Qeshm Island is more than 5.5 km, and perhaps the longest salt cave in the world.

The roofs of the caves are covered with marble crystals and crystalline forms in a variety of shapes, and have created an exquisite view the flow of salt water in the cave floor is also a pleasure to see the salty caves of Qeshm Island.

From the mountains of saltwater, there is a permanent groundwater flow, and opens the way to the outside, which, after dissolving the salt on its path, it appears as a salt spring on the mountain slopes, and in the pit next to it, it creates a white natural pond. From far away, the view of this pond is like the snow of winter. This spring is flowing throughout all of the year.
