Ramsar

One of the greenest cities of Mazandaran Province, Ramsar is a popular sea resort for Iranians, offering visitors hot springs, a view of the green forests of the Alborz Mountains, access to the Caspian coast, and the ancient ruins of Markouh Castle.

Known as the bride of Iranian cities, Ramsar is where the jungle-clad lower ridges of the snow-topped Alborz tumble into the sea. It’s a verdant, photogenic area, lush with orange groves, and there are walking trails into the nearby hills.


 

Ramsar Thermal Springs

The hot mineral springs located at the heart of this city have therapeutic properties and are said to benefit those suffering from rheumatism, skin disorders, and joint pain. A series of gaseous and sulfur springs are in regions such as Jawaher Deh, Kotalum, and Sa’dat Mahaleh, in the city of Ramsar.


 

Miankale peninsula

The Miankale Peninsula is located in the southeast part of the Caspian Sea. Bueatiful landscape welcomes you to one of the pure spot in north of Iran, It hist various types of migratory birds every year. There are 126 species of aquatic birds in this area. In addition to birds, mammals such as jackal, forest cat and jaw of the Caspian Sea are living there.


 

Dalkhani forest

Enter the world of your dreams in this magnificent paradise. You will feel freshness from the bottom of your heart. The freshness and cool weather of jungle drowns you; a jungle with high trees plus thick fog and excellent weather which is famous as the corridor of paradise because of it’s beauties. Dalkhani jungle is a short distance from sea. In the wonderful route, you can see some jungle houses and restaurants with colorful chairs which are in the middle of a road and massive trees that make a magnificent.


 

Saqalaksar lake

The village of Saqalaksar with a fantastic landscape is full of silence of the lake, surrounded by massive tall trees of the forest. There are plenty of natural attractions besides the lake.

Agriculture is the occupation of most people in this village. Rice farms and the smell of camlet and its golden clusters in the season of exploitation of rice, give a special display to the beautiful village of Gilan. It is worth mentioning that the Saqalaksar Lake (Dam) has its own special beauty in each season.


 

Saravan Forest Park

Saravan forest park is located 15 kilometers from Rasht. Saravan forest park is one of the oldest forest fields of Gilan which for its various plant species is rare across the country and even across the world. There is a green marsh at the entrance which is incredibly beautiful.

The enchanting forest of Saravan is only 17 km outside Rasht city. It is one of the oldest, and thus, grandest forests in Gilan province.
